We relocated from Al Ain,Abu Dhabi, at the end of May 2022. Mr Hari Krishnan and his team were very professional. They immediately set is at ease by being very well prepared, well-equipped and methodical. Every item was carefully sealed and secured and all we did was sit back and watch. Hari kept us abreast of course everything and always responded to our queries within a very short response time. When he said we needn't worry, he clearly meant it I would highly recommend Leader International as the best option to move your goods. Highly professional, meticulous, well -organised and above all, affordable! Thank you, Hari and the team

Worst company ever. They quoted a certain price which I agreed. After collection of items, they claimed the of the items is 15 cbm instead of 10 cbm and they asked me to pay another 50% more.
During the shipping, they again claimed shipping costs increased and they asked me to pay another 2000 AED, which I did pay because I had no option but to pay. A complete blackmail, you pay or we keep your items in the store.
Lastly, delivery should have been in 35 days but it took more than 70 days.

Try to avoid this dishonest company by all means

I felt cheated when I claimed insurance for lost and damaged

I had in faith signed the insurance appointment the insurance team recommended by Leadee Relocations LLC (Dubai based company). I have damaged items and silk carpet lost. They are offering me $12/-!!! For damage to table, headboard, broken glass from a set, damaged decorative pieces and worse of all the lost carpet which was insured they can pay me nothing!!
They have their own insurance company and they make 100% profit by insuring the items and when comes to paying claims they shy away and refer to some policy which they had never clarified or guided.
I used this company in trust and faith but at the last moment they just dump me when things were damaged in the move. I came to know that they have their own insurance company and that is why no one helped!! They just washed their hands and closed the file. I also requested that my case be referred to the owner of the company for considering but no one replied!! They shipowner my things from Dubai to Vancouver BC - kept in storage in Vancouver for four months - they were again appointed to move my same cargo from Vancouver BC to Toronto. After the cartons were open I found things damaged / carpet missing and claimed the insurance but they offered me US$12/-!!! Imagine a carpet costing about C$500/-! Don’t trust them and read every document. Also they will push customers to go for groupage. I lost my carpet in groupage!

Disappointing

The salesman over-promised, and failed to discuss the fine print in our contract. Our shipment was delayed by six weeks due to the shipper not being able to fill a partial load on short notice. This delay resulted in items being lost, including sentimental items. The failure to explain that door-to-door meant building-to-building, and we had to pay extra to have the goods delivered to a third floor apartment. Also, the salesman told us that they would reassemble the furniture upon delivery, but he failed to point out that this excluded flat pack furniture items (the ones that really need help due to time to build and extra hands needed). There was a lack of concern after they had been paid, although the insurance partner was very good.

Smooth

The communication with the company was simple, easy, and quick!
Merly (from Leader Relocations) was very friendly and helpful, who came to our house in Dubai to give us a quotation and gave us all the information.
They booked a date and packed all our things!!
In the Netherlands, Geber (from Schmidt Global relocation) took over the process and kept communicating with us, advising every step of the moving.
The whole process took just over 2 months, and they were able to accommodate a prefered delivery date as we were moving to a new house when our things arrived.
Our stuff arrived at our house, thankfully nothing was missing and also all our electronics was working!
We were very happy how they handled everything and it was fairly priced.
I highly recommend both companies!
Thank you for everyone that made our moving as smooth as possible....

Horrible service.

Broken items. Hardly any communication. Don’t even reply to your queries. When email sent regarding a broken expensive item email was ignored.

Also sent my car through them which arrived 2.5 months later. And there partners here in UK was so bad they started charging me a daily rate plus vat for not collecting the car within 2 days. Square one relocations Marius who was racist and was very rude against my kind of people he said. Never use him again.

unfortunately they used as final shipper DHL Express....

The team did a great job except in selecting the final shipper. DHL Express has demonstrated a very low attention to customer. I had to wrtie to the CEO in person to get someone sblocking my stuff at destination toll. I would use again Leadel RElocations but I will ask for not using DHL Express.

Pathetic

Inch of liars when it comes to after items are picked from your place. Zero coordination, no hold after container has been shipped. I am stuck with no response from the Dubai office. Shipment damaged with major losses

I moved permanently from Dubai to Lisbon. Leader Relocation handled the shipment of my 17 boxes of personal items and effects. I packed everything in hard plastic storage boxes and trusted them, & paid them, to pack all my fragile kitchen items & art. The shipment arrived via TNT in Lisbon and was sitting in their warehouse for 4 days until it was delivered. Not only was it late, I hurt my back as they sent one guy to deliver my 17 boxes and I had to help him carry them in. This is not the worst part, my shipment was damaged to the extent that the plastic boxes I had packed and which were wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap by the movers, arrived smashed. Out of 10 plastic boxes only 4 are reusable. The fragile boxes they packed were packed so badly that half of my fragile items arrived smashed to pieces. They packed limited edition wine glasses using paper only and not even packed closely to stop them moving inside the box. Their insurance contract, which I chose not to take, didn't cover breakages, denting or missing items. It only covered losses if an entire box was damaged or lost. I contacted them and they refused to claim responsibility for anything!

Moved from the Middle East back home to NZ.

I would recommend Leader Relocations Worldwide to anyone coming back to NZ from the Middle East. Fast efficient service. You talk and communicate with a Rep that sees you through the packing process. Your given package quotes to choose from. They have workers who can help pack your things if you want that service. It was hassle free and smooth

The team was supportive & well responsive, regardless the miscommunication about the actual weight versus the volumetric weight; which made a difference between the initially offered price against the actual price after collection. Client don't have a background about these details similar to a professional working in that field. My personal advice to LR, always share full info with clients before signing up; we are the party getting relocated & we don't like surprises in the middle of the existing mess we are facing already.

At the end of the day, the delivery was on time & without damages, I'm thankful for that & personally will hire LR again if any shipping is required. They are good.

It took four months to get our shipping!?

The team in Dubai were great, the goods were collected and the staff were very polite, helpful, and courteous. The contact in Dubai was very quick to respond to questions via email or phone. Overall, a good service at that end. Collected June 16

Our boxes then arrived in Rotterdam about a month later, all good so far.

I had to contact the company in Rotterdam on numerous occasions, the goods finally arrived at our house in Hungary on October 13, almost four months from being collected. We were quoted a couple of months at the most.
I had to email every week for updates.

The delivery people in Budapest were great, two men who treated the goods carefully and were very polite and respectful.

There were a number of breakages of items - at some point during the four months, I do not think they boxes were especially carefully handled.

Great at first but then very bad!

I moved from Dubai to Amsterdam and chose to ship 13 boxes via Air Freight with Leader Relocations. The organizing and the collection of the shipment in Dubai went really well and my items were shipped in a timely manner. But then, my boxes reached Amsterdam. I had signed up and paid for Door-to-door shipment. Nowhere did it mention that I would have single-handedly carry all 13 boxes (weighing about 25Kgs each) from my building door, to the elevator and into my apartment, by myself, without any assistance and not even a trolley - which is what I did! My 60-year-old mother felt bad for me and tried to carry some of the heavy boxes herself. Not to mention that some of my goods reached damaged.
Looking back, I wish I had been told that something like this might happen. I feel I have been cheated with the price and my back still hurts until this day!

This was very unprofessional

Packing team very Friendly, helpful and professional. They gave us a quote which we accepted although it was not the cheapest. After packing our stuff, they charge us AUS$ 720 more than the quote. At this point they admitted that they made a mistake in the quote (and they want us to pay this extra money). We refused to pay and after a number of emails, they just kept quiet. When the container arrived in Brisbane, we were notified that Leader Relocations never paid the local delivery fee. We were then forced to pay from our pocket or face storage fees. This was very unprofessional as we on a number of occasions asked the Management to contact us but it never happened.

The move was handled professionally

The move was handled professionally and Leader kept appointments. I wasn't very happy with the freight forwarder (Dynamic) who did not answer my emails timely. Also when it was delivered it was scheduled between 2 pm an 3 pm and they showed up at 7:30 pm. My items were intact and there appeared to be no problems. Again, I was very happy with Leader's work, just a little disappointed with Dynamic.

Only snag was that my boxes got separated at the other end, and the last two boxes were just left outside the property a couple of days after the first delivery- there was no communication about this so it was all a bit strange, but I have all of my belongings now and am otherwise happy with the service!

Shipping stuff to France, for some reasons they did want to ship through UK. My boxes are now stuck in UK waiting for a truck to be completed before driving to France.
The vessel was stopping over France.
I have doubt if it is really good for the sustainable dev but a huge lack of geography skills !

The only thing I was missing is more detailed description of the volume weight. I received a quotation for 50 kg and was told that actual price will be based on the actual kg so a few extra kg is okay to pack. It was not highlighted that my maximum limit is basically 60 kg owing to the size of the boxes provided. So I had to pay for 4 kg without actual weight (empty space) upon final weighting on site.

Overall good service. The team that came to my house to help packing was very efficient. The only negative thing to mention is that sometimes I had to chase for the response over email or phone which is not ideal when you are moving as you have enough on your plate to worry about.

Leader were great however the outfit they use in England, Greens, are terrible. Greens are appalling - they left my items sitting on the dock for a week as they didnt have the man power, then I had to pay a penalty for my items sitting on the dockside for a week!

Greens don't communicate and tell you when you're items will arrive, my items are already two weeks overdue and I have no idea when they are arriving. Leader were great, Greens in England are terrible.

The dealings I had with Leader Relocations in Dubai were good. Everyone was helpful and things happened timely. Once my items got to Europe, things were not so easy. The communication with the company in Europe was awful. No one would return my emails. They started trying to charge me for things just to make more money. I refused to pay and finally did get my things. I would recommend Leader, but be careful when you stuff gets into someone else's hands. Luckily, Connell from Leader continued to help me even once my things were no longer in his control.

I chose relocate as it looked professional. However I soon found in reality it was not.

Harry krishnah came across as very professional and spent an hour telling me how they would ship my belongings.
In reality the information he gave couldn't have been further from the truth.

The removers came who were supposed to pack all our belongings which we paid for. They were told that they were just supposed to collect the shipment. So our whole family ended up packing al the items. It took us 3hr after a hard days work.

We were told we would recive our shipment in around 30 day and a maximum of 40 days if there were problems.

40days has come and gone and we still have no shipment. I'm now told I have to wait another 3 weeks. In total that will be aroundd 65 days.

In all if you go with this company expect to be lied to and ripe off

the day of the quote, Connel from Leaders was quick to run through my apartment. I advised him that I have not decided on several items. He was supposed to add these in case to my knowledge? The quote came to 5800.00 AED. Packing took 12 hours as I made them pack out almost every box. Turns out Connel quoted me for 3 Cubic metres which was way too little. They wanted to charge me more and off course I refused. I in return, as a customer, was accused of adding extra furniture to my move.....extremely bad experience!!!

Bad communication. No information about a different company is being involved a long the move.
Second company also not communicative regarding waiting arounds in wear-houses.
Still not received. JUST because I am writing I am getting after 5 days answers and options are offered when it's already LATE.
BAD COMMUNICATION. I would not recommend it and the case is not even closed. Lets see how everything looks when it does finally arrive....

The 2 guys that helped packing, that was the only good things so far.

The quotation process was faultless and the gentleman who came out to the villa was polite, on time and informative. However, the team that came to pack were utterly useless, slow, inefficient, wasteful on space and left me packing numerous boxes myself to get the job done. Cupboards that were meant to be left untouched were packed, our dirty dishwasher contents were emptied despite being told to leave it alone. The foreman spent 1.5 days packing our kitchen!! Empty boxes from our store room were packed inside other empty boxes and then packed with paper protection. Then at 3pm on day 2 of our 2 day move we were informed there was insufficient space and we would have to leave things behind! The whole process from the team arriving to them leaving was shambolic and unprofessional. I don't believe this to be the norm from Leader as I researched a lot before hand but I would make sure enough guys are allocated to your home for packing and that they are kept on a very tight leash.

Leader team in Dubai were professional from arranging date through to packing and loading container within agreed timeframe.
Our shipment was delayed leaving Dubai by 8 days and currently in Ankara turkey for 10 days and then to Rotterdam for another 4 days and finally arriving Grangemouth on 22nd February -- 14 days out with agreed program.
This of course has no fault of Leader but in fact the shipping agents - to whom leader are on the case reference this delay.
Would I recommend Leader -- Yes for their professionalism leading up to the packing and shipping.
The delays are out with Leader control

But then I find out they were the only ones that did not include the GRI fees that they knew about in advance, which added $600 to the quote, so then they were NOT the lowest but already chosen. The survey and packing service was top notch. Items reached to port on time and continuous communication kept me updated regarding document required for releasing the goods. Goods were delivered as per agreed date and time. However, the unpacking and reassembly service was very bad at Netherland side. My contract was for complete door to door service including assembly and debri clearance. But the appointed party refused to do reassmbly of small items like glass centre table, chairs, kids table/ chair etc. Also the crew did not seem efficient and professional enough. At 6pm, they left the house in mess telling their shift is over and didn 't care if work is completed. Next day had to call many times to make them collect debris of packing material from my home. They had alloted time slot of 5 to 6pm to clear those but finally came at 9:30pm after continous follow-up call every 30 mins.
Hence my experience at Dubai side is good but at delivery end is definitely not satisfactory.

Unfortunately we have had a terrible experience with Leader and wish we had used Bridgeway instead - they could not have been worse. Leader estimator (Timothy) suggested a total of circa 200kgs and sent a written quotation which we accepted and Leader arrived to pack on the agreed date. We then received a final bill 220% higher than the quote ! Not happy as you can understand and I therefore called Leader to ask why the difference. They claimed that there was always a difference between quote and actual as not an exact science - I suggested more than 200% was unacceptable and they need new estimators or a more 'honest' business model. I told them we felt 'conned' by a low balled quotation and then a doubled bill - they were unhelpful and kept offering various discounts . When the boxes eventually arrived many items were damaged - we sent photos to Leader but no response - we feel mislead and abused by Leader and would NOT use again or recommend under any circumstances - AVOID LEADER

exceptional packing service in Dubai. The Leader team really do package things well and we had zero damage when everything arrived in Cape Town. Definitely recommend and I thought quite reasonably priced too given all that was involved.
