Grace relocated a container of household material for us from NZ to Aus. Grace were polite and organised. They arrived when they said they would, and the packers were careful and thorough. They completed the job well within estimated times.
When we relocated (with another company) from CA to NZ, the packers were fanatical about removing oil, gas, debris, and whatever from everything when it was packed, so (I presume) there would be no issues upon arrival. Unfortunately Grace had not trained their packers with the relevant information, and packed items such as a workbench while still covered in sawdust. That seemed perfectly harmless. If it had simply been vacuumed first we would not have been asked to pay huge extra sums to have all the items covered in sawdust cleaned or destroyed. One would think that knowing that kind of stuff is part of what you pay for.

Easy and helpful with good communication.

I signed a contract with them as they would deliver around mid-april, date I was looking for to be delivered. Once signed, I should have been contacted by someone, who never called me (told me he had to deal with an emergency somewhere else, so I understood and asked him to call me later, never did). I had to insist to know when the person would come to pick up my stuff, ending to know "tomorrow 8 am" the day before around 9pm...
Dor the delivery, once a week passed the agreed date, I asked where was my stuff and they told me it should arrive in July!!!?? I tried to contact them, to have more explanation and find a solution to have my stuff earlier (I needed some for my work), but they refuse to answer. I received a message from Transpack that asked my papers etc. When I asked Grace about that (they had all my documents, so I was surprised someone else wanted them) they told (on such a condescending way) me that it was normal that I had to exchange with other transporters, and they "should have spent more time explaining you"... I wish they had only contacted me in the first place! I never had a talk with them, so how should I know that?

My stuff ended to arrive mid-August, for a contract where we agreed on mid-April. No communication at all. I advise strongly against this unprofessionnal company. Just a call and a proper exchange would have smoothed my mood regarding this company.

Amazing team from first phone call to the last point of unpacking in our new home.
I moved under huge pressure of Covid, boarders closed between NZ and AUS but Grace was amazing at keeping me updated and I am very happy with the service.

The worst experience

If you are thinking about using grace removals as your moving company, DONT DO IT! We had the worst experience moving from Brisbane to Auckland. Being assured time and time again that our items would arrive before us, when in fact we had to wait another month before any of our things did arrive, that was just the beginning of our ordeal. Once our items arrived they were in the worst condition possible. Our bags had been opened and clothes were pouring out, the TV that was packed by the removalists had a V drink can in the box which had leaked all over the TV and rendered it useless. On top of all of that they managed to lose the biggest item we had, our sofa. This company lacks communication and they dont like taking responsibility at all. We emailed the company at the beginning of September for compensation but they have still not replied. Very poor customer service.

Grace Removals was excellent as usual. Doree Bonner the company used by Grace to deliver the goods in the UK were not good. The local management was rude and was ill-prepared for which we had to initially pay an additional £350 and upon contesting that got a refund of £250.

We were extremely happy with Grace Removals . We used them to move our possessions from Queensland to England. Door to door service at a very reasonable price and very well informed all the way through the process . I would recommend you use their packing service as their boxes stood up to the move much better than the boxes that i used. I packed half and Grace packed half. No breakages at all.
