Crooks. I would never recommend them. Avoid at all costs.

GOT overbilled my credit card by $7400. Currently in dispute with Visa.

They did not pay Maersk so my container was stuck in UK port and Maersk refused to release it till I paid all charges plus one month of additional port and demurrage charges. Cost me an additional $4500 to get it released.

They did not inform the receiving agent. I had to do everything myself.

Even their container packing was sub-standard. Several broken or damaged items.

Very unhappy.

Complete fraud. First of all the final agreed price was $4250. They billed my card over the course of three months $11435.40. Then they did not even pay Maersk, so in order to have my container released I had to pay for the complete bill again plus all the accumulated rent and demurrage charges. My container was a month late as a result of all this.

The broker at the UK end (GB Liners) was just as bad trying to rip me off for $2200 above what the actual charges from maersk were. Total nightmare. Total con.

BEWARE. Do not use them.

Sandra from GOT Shipping was very helpful at first. Since then, she has disappeared. My shipment was picked up on May 29th from Montreal for delivery to the UK. I applied for Transfer of residency and was approved and sent her the information on June 20th. After that, I had to follow up on July 5th (no response) sent another email on July 18th to which she replied it should arrive in 10 days. On August 1st I followed up (no response) on August 10th, I sent her yet another email to which she replied that my belongings were being held at UK Customs, I asked her what that meant and my partner wrote to her again on the 11th saying we expect a response - to no avail. So I wrote to UK customs with Sandra in copy on August 14th and they replied immediately that to look into it further, they need an entry number which should have been raised against my goods. I wrote to Sandra to know if this was done - she has yet to reply today on August 17th. I am about to take serious action.
