NIGHTMARE

PACKING – severe damages to our fragile furniture: sofa, coffee table and antique lamps broken. Useless insurance they make you pay for: damages not covered as due to ‘poor packing’. They won’t report damages to their own liability insurance. Our loss 10.000 EUR.

EXTRA COST – Held our container at the port arguing volume was higher than expected. Demanded an extra 20% to be paid before releasing the container. Forced to pay to avoid detention fees.

These people are famous on the internet. They have been operating under different company names for several years.
Their polished speech is convincing as they play well the ‘western expat’ card.

NAMES
- ‘LIONEL’ is the main man in the UAE. No address, no family name, just a phone number. Google LIONEL PHILIP DAVIS, ‘RELOGULF DUBAI’ or ‘BRITISH BUDGET REMOVALS’.
- ‘MIKE WOOD’ is the so-called GM, back in the UK. Never answers his phone, hardly replies emails – just enough to keep you th

Worst experience ever. Not only have they lost my possessions, they are very slow at responding to emails and are not taking any responsibility for the loss. Too many staff changes so no idea who to contact anymore. Don't use if you want professional service

The worst company ever. Broke my stuff, stole my insurance money and didn't pay out and never answer the phone or emails. I 100% recommend that you do not use this utter shambles of a company. A shower of sh*t and it's a disgrace they are even in the comparison site. I give them minus stars. Hateful stitch up merchants and terrible people.

Lost my possessions. Fails to respond to emails. Complete lack of accountability and responsibility. It's like they were only interested in collecting the money and forgetting that they had an obligation to the customer to provide the service they were paid for. Avoid at all cost. If anyone from the parent company wishes to know more I can be reached at jermal40@gmail.com

Absolutely terrible experience, never delivered my goods, claim insolvency / no liability, refuse to send me signed contract or proof of shipment. Never respond to phone or emails. Absolute scam.

Kia Ora,
This review is in regards to Expat Re-locations LLC. My communication was with its offices in both Dubai and its main ‘headquarters’ in the United Kingdom.
The services (or lack, thereof) provided by this company was unprofessional, deceitful and disregarded its obligation to act in good faith with its customers.
From the get go, the company lacked the basic manners and behavior in dealing with situations appropriately.
I still do not understand as it is extremely confusing as to why a company would go through extreme lengths to make the process more difficult on you instead of trying to make the process move more smoothly.
I urge anyone looking to relocate not to work with this company (if you could even call it that) because it will not do anything but cause more problems and chaos in your life. I pay a lot, my cargo was late, with damaged and missing items. unhonest staff and manager. furthermore I urge to the authorities in UAE to investigate about this compan

This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I think we are being defrauded or robbed.

Six weeks after Expat Relocations took our possessions, they have not moved from Dubai. First they lost track of our order (no communication for over a month). Then they claimed the Dubai port was closed for a month (a lie). Then they said the person handling our order was fired. Then they spent weeks ignoring our emails asking for status updates. Now they are saying they are holding our possessions in Dubai because we didn't pay their bill (we did). I'm on the verge of either suing or reporting this company to the police because I'm losing confidence that they're actually going to deliver our goods. Based on their (very, very conservative) estimate, our possessions should have arrived by now. Instead we are sleeping on an air mattress in an empty apartment with no way of knowing when anything will arrive. I cannot believe this is a real company.

This is not a moving company but rather hoaxers and scammers who just collect money and do not deliver your furniture to its destination. They do not pay their agents abroad and break agreements consistently. They complete disrespect to their customer post them collecting the money and should be removed from the list of recommended companies. I am already taking them to court in Dubai for their day-light robbery in hope to get back my money and furniture despite all their threats.

Well here I sit in July 2016 still missing items that have not been sent from Dubai. They measured the furniture incorrectly and there were a number items that would be shipped in a broken load - well still waiting - so ANGRY.

Unfortunately we have had a very unsatisfactory move with expat relocations! I have given 1 star as they were punctual, on time and quick packing our home in Dubai! However we were given a rough timescale of 6-8 weeks for our goods arriving in the uk....our goods were packed on 24th March, it is now 8th July and we are STILL waiting on our goods. The communication with their uk office has been terrible and we are now having all calls and emails ignored and have no idea where our belongings are! We have a small baby and were relying on quick return of our baby equipment which 3.5 months later has still not arrived. Therefore I would not recommend this company to anyone, we have had a very disappointing experience with them and it has still not been resolved!!!!

Delivery took a month. Was charged at least an extra 100 lbs as apparently i had more than 300 lbs. Boxes arrived with less than 200 lbs. Missing a few things inside as well as damaged goods inside.

Expat relocations were excellent with communication when negotiating the rate. The boys were on time and were very quick to pack and load. I have received updates as to the progress of my boxes. Not only were they the best price but had outstanding customer service. i have recommended them to three other neighbours and will continue to do so in future. A great experience all round. They make what can be a stressful situation simple. Very impressed.

The worst service possible. Few boxes were missing and we had to pay extra money when the shipment arrived overseas while we paid for a door to door service. No one is answering our emails now to find the missing boxes. Will not recommend.

I had the worst experience in my life with Expat Relocations!
Irresponsible and non-skilled staff. My shipment has been stuck for more than 2 months and we don't even have a loading date yet even though the full amount from our side has been paid. I have received wrong quotation and wrong price. The staff doesn't follow up with clients and as a result of that we have exchanged more than 40 emails, most of them from our side, and shipment has not been loaded yet! As soon I have noticed the first problem I tried to break up the contract but I was asked to pay a very high bill and the furniture was already taken to some ''secret place''.
Even the general manager is not able to explain or speed up the shipment.
If I have chosen any other company my furniture would have been arrived already!!!

Very disappointed. We were promised that our furniture would be delivered in 3 days and a week later we are still awaiting our furniture. There has been minimal contact from the company and all has been initiated by myself. The men who boxed our furniture however worked tirelessly. We still don't know if we will ever see our furniture again. I feel that although we paid a high sum of money we have received very poor service. I will certainly be making this point on social media about expat relocations and I suggest that you don't recomend this company ever again.

No updates. Did not answer phone despite repeated calling. Told they have no idea where my things are. Finally found out they have not yet shipped. My things should have originally arrived this week and will not be in KL for another 6 weeks. Disappointed with The Relocator.... Who qualified these pirates!
