Inter Movers has moved our belongings to Chile from Los Angeles. Movers were very knowledgeable and professionally packed our goods. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. They have use protective coverings on our freshly done floors to avoid any scratches or damage. Well recommended.

Inter Movers has just completed my move going to Bangladesh. Service was perfect from start to finish. I had a very expensive grand piano that we have purchased for my daughter and it has arrived in same condition it was shipped. Not a scratch. Inter Movers has built a wood custom crate.

Small ocean move (100cf) from NYC to Grenoble area (France)

I chose this company after getting several quotes. They offered the lowest price. After checking the reviews of the other companies in the same price range (up to +50%) I decided to go with them since they had nearly only good reviews and no horror stories like their competitors.

The process went very smoothly even in these challenging times. We received our packages about 2 months after they were picked up. We had a minor insurance issue for the pick up in NYC, because my NYC landlord was much stricter than expected by the company but we figured it out. We got everything in great shape (except 2 small glass containers but that has more to do with our poor packing of those than anything else). The communication was excellent throughout the process on both side of the Atlantic.

Worst moving experience so far

If I could give zero stars, I would. The company was chosen based solely on their delivery estimate from San Diego, CA to Ontario being significantly shorter than their competitors. This was the first lie. Michael has zero customer service skills and was quite put out that I'd dare to question any part of the process. They gave zero updates, until it was time when the shipment was supposed to arrive. Then I get an email saying the truck had broken down, was being repaired, and the arrival date was pushed back another week. When THAT date arrived, I received an email telling me that actually, the shipment hadn't yet left the warehouse in California. Didn't end up getting my stuff for a full MONTH after they picked it up. Owner/manager was rude throughout, cared nothing at all for the inconvenience, and absolutely refused any of my suggestions of how to make the situation right.
Will never deal with this company again, and don't recommend that anyone else does, either. Ever. Crooks and liars.

USA to Asia

They have bad business tactics. They low-ball you a number and then charge you with other charges later on. I ended up paying $10,000 USD for a move from the USA (east coast) to China region. I personally think I overpaid by $3000 USD. Also, Inter-Movers didn't even warn me about how expensive it is to get a vehicle past Customs. I ended up paying 2x the vehicle's cost to get it past customs. It's like Inter-Movers has no experience with getting things past customs.

False advertising

I use this company because they advertised shipment will be door to door. That was not true. When the shipment got to the country I was moving to I had to pay for the final 300 miles. Was told that Inter Movers LLC have did this to other customers.

I moved most of my household goods from the US to NZ

The initial price the company quoted me was lower than others, but there were several fees not included, so in the end I probably paid as much or more than the other quotes.
I called the company a week before the move to confirm the day and time the movers would arrive, then they came a day earlier which was difficult because I wasn't ready.
The men who packed the container didn't write a good description of the contents of the boxes, so it became a big and very stressful issue when customs on the receiving end wanted to find the boxes of certain items and they weren't listed. The packers wrote descriptions of the boxes rather than the contents, and then put "miscellaneous" for the contents. This was probably because most of the men didn't speak english.
When the packers finished loading they asked me for a 20% tip, which was $2,000 for 3 men for a day's work they were being paid for.
I'm still unpacking the boxes, but so far a few minor items have been broken, but almost everything arrived intact.
The company that unpacked the truck at the New Zealand end had excellent communication and the packers themselves were friendly and competent.

Only thing barring from providing a complete 5 * is the fact that one of my light shades at my home was broken while delivering and since its not covered in the item list there has been no response from the company about reimbursement.Other than this glitch

Horrific - worst international move I have ever experienced.

Beginning with my initial quote, I stated I needed my delivery by a specific date. Every bit of verbal and/or written communication I stated that I needed my belongings by a specific date. I even shipped my items extra, extra early since I needed them to be in our new, overseas home by a specific date.

That day came and went - our items were never delivered - and all I heard were excuses - including that the truck had broken down.

Inter-movers worked with another European company for the delivery and NEITHER of the two companies would take ownership of the issue and my shipment languished for WEEKS.

I have moved several times and this was - by far- the worst experience I have ever had and I highly recommend that NOBODY uses this company. They are terrible.
