PRISMA failed everything they could fail
If I could travel back in time I would advise myself to go to yelp and read the reviews about PRISMA ... Oh boy I wish I had seen all those beautiful reviews here ...
The level of incompetence of the New York operation team is beyond everything you will experience in the U.S
When hiring a moving team you're hoping that:
1 - They won't damage anything - PRISMA failed (I had 2 pieces of furniture I asked special care, they were both got damaged ! - Among other things)
3 - That they will deliver on time - PRISMA failed (by 3 weeks. Just imagine yourself waiting in an empty apartment at your destination for 3 weeks ... And the associated cost)
3 - That they won't insult you - PRISMA failed (20 years in the US, I never heard a customer representative insult me until I met PRISMA ... Priceless)
4 - That the extras you'll have to pay will be reasonable - PRISMA failed. One thing for sure, you'll have to pay at destination, it's normal. It's not normal to have to pay 2K extra. They know very well when you sign, they just don't tell you so they stay cheaper than the competition
4 - They won't blackmail you - PRISMA failed (Once they have your furniture, it's pay or they keep it whatever the disappointment you have with them, with all the above mentioned, they won't make any commercial gesture and ask you to pay everything on time even though they are themselves 1 month late and that you have to buy tons of stuff while waiting in an empty apartment)
Do yourself a favor, pick another company. You might have issues as well but I guarantee you that you won't have them ALL.
I'm also hoping this review goes viral so these thieves get what they deserve. I hope next time someone googles PRISMA, they read PRISMA failed.
