Disastrou

Artwork broken. Delivery 18 days late.
No communication on process or progress. Multiple little companies involved, left hand had no idea want the right hand was doing. Tryednto charge me twice COD. Mechanical breakdowns. No warning of delivery dates. Constantly had to hound people for information which they typically did not possess. Artwork damaged $4500. I had to pay for a flight to Vancouver to clear customs...an extra $450 plus $250 for a
hotel overnight, should have been informed prior.

Unmitigated Disaster

Hired company because they seemed most professional. Paid $22K for moving and crating. Didnt realize that the people who crate, who are not the people that pack, are not the people who load, are not the people that drive, are not the people that deliver. AND NONE OF THEM KNOW WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING. Prepare to be present and walk through every stage. The Name on the side of the truck has nothing to do with who you are dealing with. And any similarity between the dates you were promised and the date it actual shows up, are purely coincidental and a surprise to all parties concerned.
Move arrived at the destination 19 DAYS LATE. No follow up from initial contracting organization. As with all aspects of this move, I wil.l have to hunt them down. The only positive was the final delivery driver (Lenny... but God only knows who he actually works for) who actually did what he said he would do.
