Relocation from Singapore to New Zealand
I strongly do not recommend to use this company. This is my horrible experience to use this company, Dawn International Relocation. We decided to use them with their competitive quotation on the rate & dates. At first, The Director, Bhargavan, He booked wrong pick update. We confirmed several times about pack up date for my shipment on 9am 16.Dec 2019. We prepared and got a whole day off, but no one came. And after I called him, found out they booked the truck wrong day, end up to pack up next day, It's only 38 boxes baggage they spent a 8hours. (Actually he quoted only 4 to 5 hours), the truck gone to somewhere else when they are ready to load. Second, He didn't ship my Baggage before Christmas, which is most important agreement with Bhargavan why we decided to use their company. He didn't tell me till my baggage is delayed. Third, THIS IS WHERE WE ARE NOW, I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY SHIPMENT YET!!! Although Dawn's quotation was delivered by end of January, New Zealand company said Bhargavan of Dawn haven't paid them, they can't deliver. The payment was supposed to receive by end Jan to New Zealand company. We waited & waited delivery notice by New Zealand company, I asked them for update few weeks ago, they said not received payment from Dawn International yet, I asked Bhargavan 13.Mar 2020 about payment. He said "Account is arranging to transfer today.They will receive it by Mon/Tue next week". But by now after 2 weeks still New Zealand company haven't received payment. So, What can I do? I have no idea! Why such a terrible company can survive in Singapore? How much I have been spending limited life without my belongings since I sent my shipment 4 month ago. Should I lodge this case at the small claims tribunals? Is this my mistake? "The Relocator" listed such a bad mover?? Please advice me. How can I get my shipment back...
