Quote was almost half of the next closest competitor, and the final volume estimation was 1 cm3 off, so I had to top up excess despite actually shipping lesser things than initially indicated.
Local delivery appointments were all on time, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shipment sat in the Singapore port longer than communicated.
Despite that delay, the European counterparts managed to expedite the entire last mile delivery rather quickly and once the shipment was in their hands, I managed to receive it at my address within days.
The final last mile delivery people were nice but low-budget type, so they didn’t come with proper equipments and one item was damaged, and an insurance claim was successfully filed.
Conclusion: CM is pretty reliable and communications were on point, pricing was also very reasonable. As with all other companies, they do use many other partners to handle the other end of the logistics, so that might depend on luck. Their overseas counterpart in my case was very efficient and it went well. Unfortunate about the damage but since the insurance claim went through, I don’t have complaints. Overall would highly recommend IF time is not a critical factor. If it is, avoid the groupage option and opt for individual shipments.
