Prompt for the interview and competitively priced. The packing service seemed pretty good. Its been one month and so far I dont even have details of the vessel or a shipping date from Singapore. We didnt have much to ship and it is based on a Groupage rate which means they need to consolidate cargo from different customers into one container before they ship. Having worked in shipping I find it hard to believe it would have taken this long. The service has been fine but I will be happier when my personal effects are on the water and ultimately delivered.

We have quote from Links and Classic only. Alvin of Classic is prompt in his response, and he is reassuring of doing a good job. We are satisfied with the service. The goods has arrived at the port of NZ, we are still waiting for custom to clear, and will be delighted to see our stuff again. Thank you.

Classic moving were to deliver my shipment around the 9Th August. When it had not arrived by the 10th or 11th I called them. After checking to find out where on route it might be they came back to say ... Its still in our depot. We forgot to pack it on a ship!
It arrived finally on 6th September. James Sanderson has he tells me been in discussion with his boss to arranhe compensation. As of yet they have come back an answer, in fact my last email has not been answered. Disgraceful it has to be said and I will strongly recommend anyone when asks for them to go anywhere else other than Classic Moving. 1/2 star is too good for them and customer relations is shambolic!

Underestimated the volume of the goods to move and the time taken to complete the removal. However, on-site team were excellent.

The move started awkwardly as the Team were very late arriving. However, when the packing started, they were competent, quick and did a good job. The move took place on 28th May, but as of today, 29 June, we still do not have any shipping details. This is a concern, but I'm sure they will tell us with whom they are working here in Germany in due course.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend CLassic Moving to others as they were clear winners on price and came up with the best alternative to keep costs as low as possible.
To put that in perspective, quotes from the others were often twice as expensive.

Overall we were very happy with the moving company. It was reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant to work with and did their job quickly and effiently. It was not until we began unpacking on arrival at the other end of its journey that we discovered that some of the items/ornaments that were not fragile had loads of packaging around them and some items that were very fragile had very little packing around them which resulted in the breakage of some of these items.
Although we were told that we would have a list of what he contents of each box would be, the labels on the boxes were very vague which made it very difficult to inform New Zealand customs which box the wood/caneware/shells etc were .

I have not yet completed move, but chose Classic because Jonathon who came to my home was confident, polite, helpful and gave the most detailed feedback and Quote. Answered all my questions and emails were followed up promptly - moving date is 11 February, but Classic have been excellent to date.
