Efficient and well planned

The company accurately assessed the volume of contents from a video call and gave a competitive price. They were helpful with changing circumstances and the helpline was excellent. Bikes were well wrapped and stored and the piano was undamaged. Movers themselves were friendly and efficient.

The company were not the cheapest but they were by far the most thorough that I spoke to. After a video call to walk through the house and assess the contents I was offered a price. The guys that did the moving were courteous and careful. All of our belongings were wrapped and cared for, and everything arrived safely at the destination. During the whole process I had full communication with the office and felt I was in safe hands.

Efficient, competent and friendly

We first used Moving Home Company for a small move from Paris to Brighton for our daughter. They did such a good job with friendly service that we used them for a much larger and complicated move (close to 300 boxes) from our Paris house to 2 different locations ( to a smaller apartment in Paris and our house in Portugal). They consulted with us at every step Which helped limit any mistake and ensure proper labelling as well as allowing us to maintain an overview. Everything went super well and of all the boxes and fragile items moved, only one glass picture frame broke which can easily be replaced. The cost was very competitive. They reassembled everything that had been dismantled and made sure the appliances worked. They were super efficient and very nice to work with. We highly recommend them!

Absolutely abysmal Service

Absolutely abysmal Service. Very offensive Team especially the owner Theo. I arranged the move and was told they would have cardboard boxes to hang clothes, and bubble wrap for delicates. They wrapped everything in paper and nothing else. They loaded everything and demanded more Money claiming there was too many boxes. There were too many boxes because they used my pillows to protect the fragile items for which there was no bubble wrap and of course then its 2 pillows per box. All boxes were half full of paper. They dragged expensive cupboards off one lorry and onto another scrapping and destroying the parts, they lost most of the screws and Fittings for all items, expensive bed mattresses dragged through dirty water, and a big hole in the Couch. 3 glass chandeliers broken, & everything filthy. 7 days to identify broken & lost items, ONLY 7 days to get at least 3 quotes/ item before Claims can be processed. BE PREPARED TO ARGUE, CRY, LOOSE SANITY & MONEY - living nightmare

Very good removal company. Easy to talk to and very helpful. Price was really good. No damage and the men were so helpful and pleasant. Would really recommend these people. Kept in touch all of the way from Spain to UK.

The service before the move was fantastic, a very friendly visit for a reasonable quote. However on the day things did not go smoothly - they sent 2 guys, one of whom had never done packing before and consequently was very slow. What they assured me would only take 2.5 hours to pack actually took 4 - this meant that we were too late to use the loading dock outside of the flat and in all of the confusion I wasn't able to check that everything was accounted for and a few things got lost in the move. The guys were very nice, just not resourced properly to get the job done effectively which meant instead of being able to relax I had to help them to get it all done in time. I wouldn't recommend them

Everything was managed professionally in U.K., from the first contact with Manuela to the pick up of the boxes by her team.
Unfortunately moving home company didn't manage to deliver directly to me in Italy, so my boxes were handed to a third party company that was a bit difficult to manage. They didn't want to deliver to my flat, second floor, as agreed and if I didn't accept the delivery at 10-11PM they cold have moved the delivery of a month or two. To accept the delivery at te second floor I had to agree to seek help if 4 people of my family to help.

Amazing from start to finish. Was so dubious about moving companies. But my mind has been flip reversed. So happy with everything and getting every single piece of my furniture and belongings from London to Dubai with not one thing broken or damaged! :) thank you!

The decision was easy, the movers very profession, the post-packing period was disappointing in terms of timing for the delivery which was delayed twice, the fact that they changed vehicles several times and damaged a desk. Hopefully they will have it repaired promptly.

Good. The guys were nice and on time, they were quick. They did ask if I "really wanted to move that big IKEA wardrobe, because you know, it can get damaged in the transport".. Fair enough.
The admin not so great, I had to chase them quite a lot, they would only answer 1 out of every 2 or 3 emails, not super reassuring when moving from a country to another..
All in all, I'd still recommend.

The company promised a lot but the delivery very poor. The car and the third lorry arrived with over 3 weeks delay. The case worker refused to talk to me in the meantime and the manager was inventing rather poor excuses. Would not recommend them to anybody.

Customer service was good. Timeframe was met for delivery. However when shipment arrived at customs there was a heavy charge to X-ray my items which I had to pay to receive my goods. Also my dresser arrived broken and some cups here broken. I am atill unpacking to find out what else has been broken.

I used Move International who unknown to me as not disclosed by them are an internet company who rake off commission & subcontract, in my case to Fred Phillips removals of Sittingbourne in Kent
Both companies should be struck off the move was an unmitigated disaster I would not recommend either to my worst enemy

While our things did arrive in a timely way and undamaged, the service we received from the company was terrible. They picked up the boxes a day late, did not send paperwork with the shipment to the receiving agency, were slow to pay the invoice from the receiving agency, nearly delaying our delivery, and overcharged me for the cubic feet shipped. I have wasted a lot of time dealing with each of these issues and would not recommend them for an international move.
