Disappointing, Frustrating, Damaged on Delivery
I knew VanOne was cheaper than other movers, and we moved during COVID from Spain to Ireland, so I understand some of the issues, but overall there was a lack of correspondence from the get-go. We couldn't get confirmation about when the mover would arrive. In the end, he just didn't. He got into an accident and they promised to get us a mover the following day, the day we were scheduled to turn in our keys, which added a lot of undue stress to an international move during a pandemic. None of the drivers wore masks or used hand sanitizer or cared about hygiene in any way. One driver thought COVID was a hoax and masks made you sicker. On delivery, we never received any information on when our delivery was expected. It came two days late and suddenly, they arrived on our doorstep. No communication. Most of our boxes were in tatters, ripped and broken. It was a different truck, which meant they moved us onto a truck, off a truck, on a truck, and then delivered, meaning more chance of damage. They tore our plastic mattress cover and left a gash in a very expensive mattress. I notified them of the issues and the damage and they never responded, couldn't have cared less. If you are looking for a functional mover and you don't care about timing, communication, or damage to your property, they are perfect movers.
