My experience with NavTrans was very positive in the beginning. Overall, the experience in Europe was good. Nancy Wigglesworth was wonderful to work with, Savo was very friendly.
The trouble began when the company forgot to record my payment and my shipment was delayed three weeks. This was further complicated by my rural address in the United States - Savo said he would clarify this with the US partner, but this never happened, and my shipment was further delayed. In the end, because of these errors, I had to pay more than 1000 USD more for warehouse fees and customs fees, and NavTrans, to date, is not taking any responsibility for the errors. My shipment came more than 3 months after it was picked up from my home in Austria.
Their US partner Air7Seas was horrible to work with - extremely unprofessional. I would never trust them with personal items.
The "cherry on top" was the delivery of the shipment. The delivery guy came to my residence and asked if we had a forklift and had no idea that he was delivering to a home (this he said to me on the phone the evening before). Thankfully my father had a forklift and did the unloading himself. The delivery guy, having no instructions, simply had us sign off on the whole huge pallet box, though he was supposed to go through box by box and check off the inventory. It was obvious that he had no idea what he was doing.
Oh, and if you get the insurance, be aware that it only covers your items if there is a total loss. It will not cover items that are damaged during shipment.
I do not and will not recommend NavTrans to anyone.
