moving from China to South Africa

We just got all our boxes last week . We are so happy to note all was in good order and was pleased the timeliness of the delivery to my home as was confirmed by Damos the day prior .

I will recommend YooHoo moving to all my friends .

Horrible and exhausting

I'm glad you give us the option to leave a review about the movers you have listed on your site. Anyone who is reading this, please consider very deeply about choosing a different company. I would never choose Yoo-Hoo Moving & Relocation again. The only positive was the relatively low cost of the move, which turned out to be an indication that you get what you pay for. They moved 8 boxes of clothes and household items for me from China to Malaysia. When the boxes left the apartment in China, they were in pristine condition. By the time they arrived in Malaysia, they were smashed and nearly unrecognizable. In addition, some of my belongings did not arrive, including a silver necklace that belongs to my son and an HD video camera. They could've at least kept the tripod, too! Upon opening the box that had my wife's clothes, we noticed that most of her clothes were stained by some sort of purple liquid. We have no idea what it was, but the clothes had to be thrown away. Other things were broken or unusable, such as toys and office supplies. Communication is also terrible. I would leave several messages before finally getting responses, and the lady who booked our move put the wrong information on the forms, despite being asked to correct it several times. The only good thing is that I won't have to move from China again.

china shanghai to uk

At China end the company was fantastic. They picked my luggage up the day after i booked on just a deposit, the rest was paid once my stuff had cleared chinese customs. They were easy to get a hold of through the wechat app. However, there is very little communication through their website, ie enmail address or phone number. The uk side was a big let down however. It was two weeks later than their estimate. (you can give some delay for the length of journey of course, but i thought two weeks was quite a while). Once it got to the uk they passed it to a third party. i booked with a moving company rather than sending my things postal because the of the details they were able to put on the parcels... ie its my own stuff not purchased items. once it went to the third party this paperwork was deemed invailed by uk customs so i ended up paying uk tax on stuff that was bought and vated in the the uk to begin with. so i ended up paying again nearly the same price i had paid yoohoo moving to ship my things. i wa disapointed with this as they advertised door to door servicve through their company and no third party was advertised in the process of this.
The stuff did arrive safe though so it wasnt all a loss, but would have been cheaper with the postal service if they had advertised a third party involvement.

A great move !

I have received my boxes in the UK 1 week ago . Everything is alright, nothing is broken, the delivery was on @me and efficient.
Back in China, the packing was really quick. Smooth from one door to the other:)
Great service! I'll recommend Yoohoo Moving to my friends !

We received our bags a few days ago. No issues.

We received our bags a few days ago. No issues. We did have to go down to the post office to identify the bags and verify they were ours before they would deliver them, but I don't blame the moving company for that.

Yoo-Hoo Moving & Relocation

I paid for door-to-door service. I understood this to mean they would pick it up at my door and then deliver to my door at the new country. That did not happen.

My bags have arrived in Vietnam, but I received a letter asking me to come to the post office. So, I went to the post office to get my bags and they STILL won't let me have them. I have to wait for them to go through customs. AND THEN I will still have to go back and pick them up myself. I paid for the complete delivery service and have not received that.
