Shanghai Trust Mover

TrustMover is a disaster. Use another company that knows their business and cares about customers.

My manager was Mike mike@trustmover.com.cn, also known as Aomar or Oumar on LinkedIn.

I've been tricked several times:

1) Overpaid for net volume
2) Paid an unexpected Import tax fee because of the missing documents, as TrustMover shipped immediately without confirming with me while I needed time to gather documents.
3) Paid additional storage fee while gathering missing documents as TrustMover is not aware of what documents in what form are required for customs clearance, even with import tax.
4) TrustMover ignored destination agent warnings and picked the most expensive warehouse, forcing me to pay extra.

Details:

The initial conversation was fine and polite. The goods were picked up fast, but afterward, all my problems had just started.

They do not know what documents and in what form are required by the destination customs clearance.
They give you a list of documents to gather after the goods have been picked up.
They ship your goods before you gather documents.
They lie about CBM to make you pay more.
They ship without a green light from the destination agent, who knows that documents are missing.
They do not care about how much you will pay extra.
They do not communicate the situation to you as they do not know it themself. The destination agent has done most of the work.
I had to organize clarification calls by myself and understand the nuances of international shipments by myself. TrustMover played a bold role, lied, ignored facts, and just asked me to pay.

As a result of unprofessional work by TrsutMover, my goods arrived at the destination port with missing documents, and I had to pay additional fees (40-50 % of the initial quote)
TrustMover kept me hostage, as my goods have not been released, and they have a terrible relationship with the destination agent.

As a customer, I'm very disappointed in the services provided as its level is unacceptable, and the company operates like a scam.

Avoid TrustMover

This company is the most disrespectful and untrustworthy of all the moving companies I have ever used.
They failed to send the shipment and delayed for 8 months (total 10 months). After getting disappointed with receiving my shipment I tried to found the company who works with them in the US for custom clearance (K Trans logistics). They told me that trustmover has changed all of its customers in full and has not paid the money anything ro K Trans and now they are not releasing the shipment. After negotiation I paid my custom and transfer fee from LA to Alabama again to K Trans to get my stuff. The trustmover promised to pay back at least the transfer money from LA to Alabama because they didn't deliver the goods. But instead they threatened me that if I don't remove my comments from review websites they won't pay back. Thay also used fake exchange rate just to pay as less as possible and when I ask for reference they refused to provide.

Just avoid them at all cost. Do not fall into this scam. Specially the business manager who is known by the name 奥马尔 (Aomar) is a very rude and unethical person when it comes to treating the customer.

The worst experience possible with this company. They lack integrity, honesty and act as if they are above the law. They agreed a cost for a move from China to Vietnam and it was a shambles start to finish. Absolutely zero communication unless asked again and again. Lied to as customer constantly (your stuff is in Vietnam, we can’t deliver it it hasn’t left Shanghai yet!) added costs at every turn and then to top it off lost over £3500 pounds worth of stuff but because THEIR employee didn’t fill out the insurance properly it wasn’t their problem and there was nothing they could do!!
Disgusting company with absolutely no morals - AVOID COMPLETELY!

Very bad experience. Whoever in China wanted to move your item to overseas. Don't use this mover in Shanghai. TRUST MOVER. My experience of moving my 20 boxes of household goods from Chongqing to Singapore. Money collection super fast. Once the goes arrived in Singapore, they are complete silent and never provide feed back where are your items. My items are idling in Singapore for more than 2 weeks and Trust Mover don't ever inform me despite my constant chasing.

Simple version: avoid this fraud company, even if they offer free service.

Long version, just like everybody else said, they have no clues or ideas about shipping or they real fraud and scam which wants to steal your money and stuff. Everyday you will be charged with new expenses out of contact. Their promises on delivery date worth shi*. Just avoid them at any cost.

This is the worst ever shipping company (if they really are a company) I saw. They are group of gansters!! Never pass through where they are working! Once they make you pay for deposit, they keep on inceasing the fee every day for fake reasons!! Specially, if they realize that you are no more in China, then they have no fear, no humanity, at all!

Worst ever company to deal with , once you pay the deposit then suddenly the price changes . They could not ship half my goods as they don’t have licenses , suddenly wanted another 5k USD for a dangerous goods certificate. They shipped half my goods and took over 5 months . Then took almost a year to get a refund , had to get a debt collection company . In the end received my money and was threatened that I must remove all negative reviews as business has been so bad .

Alsa from Trustmover ( a China shipping company Trust Mover) is holding through their US agent Dynamic LA. TrustMover put a HOLD on my goods as hostage, claiming I owed money to their client, but they refused to show any document /receipts of the extra amount of money they try to charge out of the signed contract. Not only that, Dynamic LA reported there is a missing package, but Trust Mover denied it, insists nothing is missing without providing any explanation nor proof.
Alsa from Trustmover is holding my goods for 4 months, not providing any documents/receipts explaining the extra charges nor investigating the missing item(s). Is there a way you could help to get my goods delivered? Thanks.

Terrible experience

Awful experience using these people. Money was stolen during packing, hiked the price up mid packing. Boxes half empty so they can charge you more for space. S C A M

Terrible experience , hidden cost,

The company promise a relative low cost at the beginning. They will ask you for more money while your items are shipped. They hold our deposit and delayed the returning for our deposit for no reason.

Impudent liar and robber

awful experience! Liars and robbers! This company is just a very expensive agent! They kept your money and did nothing. Then they entrusted third parties to pick up, transport and clear customs. Finally, they hold these invoices and asked you to pay. If you refused, then they would seize your goods and threaten you! Because they know, you couldn’t do anything with them, even they broke the contract, lied to you and blackmailed you! Because if you are abroad, the foreign laws cannot restrain them. If you are in China, congratulations, there is no way to complain. Customs, police and industry and commerce bureaus are afraid of offending large companies and enterprises, and do nothing. The only and last way is to sue, but you have to bear the expensive cost of the prosecution by yourself with a disappointing consequences：A little compensation is not enough to pay the lawyer! This is why they are so unscrupulous!

Keep far far away from this company! Alsa promised you everything! But after you paid the money, she showed her face and character as a impudent liar and robber. According to the contract my goods should be in 48 days in front of my house door! Now, after 5 months I am still waiting. No excuse, no explanation! Now they just want to threaten me to pay third party invoices! Keep far far away from this company!!!

什么搬家公司！是黑心中介！国际搬家运输千万别找他们！他们无视合同条例，违约，还要扣押你的货物勒索威胁！合同里收了所有的费用，转身去找其他货代处理一切，最后还要拿着第三方开的发票找你买单！拒付？东西被扣押着！搬去外国？天高皇帝远，国外的法律无法束缚他们！搬回国内？投诉无门！乱收费，海关不管！打12315投诉举报，和稀泥，大公司不敢管！报警，警察说，这不是勒索威胁，无法立案，让你自己去起诉！就是这样踢足球！在国内，谁会为了一点钱花更多的钱请律师起诉？！他们就是因为因为这样才一直无法无天，犯罪没成本！而且这种公司根本不需要信誉！所有的生意都是一次性，不坑你坑谁！血的教训！千万别找上海信茂国际！为钱无底线！

Horrible service and constant lies

From the beginning, I thought I had found a good company to work with. They were very friendly and professional at first when they came to assess my goods, and also when they came to pack. But everything changed once my goods were sent and the money was paid. It turns out that Alsa, who had been helping me, lied to me about my delivery date. She had given me an expected date for delivery based on what I told her I wanted, but I later found out that when they packed my items, they had already booked space on a ship which would make my items arrive about 4 weeks later than they promised, but she lied to me to tell me the date that I wanted to hear. Due to my busy travel schedule, this made things quite difficult. I explained to Alsa far in advance that there was only one day that the goods could be delivered, and she promised it would happen. Turns out, she was lying again. She had no control over the customers clearance process, and through discussion with their local partner I learned that she had no way to be able to make me a promise like that. In the end, once I got my things, I found some broken items. I asked for insurance forms, and in the last 3 weeks that I've been trying to make an insurance claim with them, they have yet to provide me with any documentation to make a claim or move the process forward. It has now been over 3.5 months since my items have arrived, and I continue to receive lies and to be put off at every turn. Do not use this company.
