Worst company ever...and I have used quite a few! Customer service is poor. Not answering phone calls or sms. As soon as you pay 100%, they disappear. I was not made aware of my shipment being delayed...twice! Gave me a shipment numer which was not correct as my stuff had not left Dubai. Almost 2 months delay with no contact, no apology, nothing.
Boxes arrived in the worse state i have ever seen. The european movers said that everytime they deal with DTD worldwide, boxes arrived damaged because they use poor quality cardboard boxes. They were also badly handled, torned open...terrible! As a results, certain items were damaged and when i contacted them to claim, they just never replied.
I never post reviews, but this is unacceptable. Stay very very clear from them.

Very disappointing! They handled our move from Dubai to the UK last summer and in the process damaged so many things including furniture, crockery and ornaments. We've been trying to engage them in a conversation about it since and there's no response despite the fact that we paid for the insurance they sold us. We're starting to wonder if this is a legitimate business and whether they put the insurance policy in place. We are now escalating to the Dubai consumer authority. Avoid!

I had a pleasant interaction with this group from the beginning. However, I warned them about my previous bad experience with another company. Where the goods arrived but could not be delivered due to unpaid fees by the logistics company. They promised this was not going to happen to me.
As such I booked the service, one container from Dubai to Algericas.
Lo and behold, the agent in Algericas would/could not deliver due to outstanding fees not being paid by DTD.
I knew that if I did not pay those fees on behalf of DTD, I would be paying daily demurrage fees.
The excuses I was given, never matched the facts, when I asked for proof, they never supplied them.
I sent them an itemised list of what the shipping company claimed happened and on what dates, showing that DTD has caused delays. I asked DTD for an explanation and proof that this was incorrect, however, they refused to supply proof and claimed they were not responsible. Now they no longer even bother to answer emails.
I feel that they have failed to deliver what was promised and caused me financial losses.
I will be taking this up with the authorities and other trust sites. Not responding and just saying the shipping company is wrong is to me not professional. At first, they claimed that the goods were held up by Customs, which appears to be false.
They have broken any trust I had and as such I would never use them or recommend them to anyone.

This is a scam!
I have submitted claims for broken items and never heard back regardless the insurance price paid and continuous follow ups.
I’m addition, they charged me 2cbm more than the actual cargo size - luckily we had counted everything before hands and corrected it.
