Once you make the payment for the shipping service, forget about "customer support" or any assistance following up on your shipment. The company does not reply to the email and whatsapp numbers they provide on their website. If you are lucky, you can call the landline and get someone to reply. However, I dubt they will give you any update or useful information about your shipping. From my experience, I can say that it was the most frustrating I had so far. Mr Barath was avoiding providing clear information on where my items were or when they would be delivered. I contacted him weekly and it was always the same speak "I am so sorry, I don't know. You are not the only one in this situation. Your shipment was very small" (as if because it was smaller than what they usually handle, it was less important). Some of my items were not shipped because of limitations on my new location (liquids and gels can not be transported via sea, as they said). ATA said that I could come and collect them from their office whenever I could. I had the chance to go to their office 2 months after I paid for the shipment service, to collect those items that were not shipped and the had NO IDEA where those items were! And they insinuated that because I did not paid for an insurance (which I was never even offered to begin with), they are not responsable if items go missing. My shipment arrived 4+ months after I requested the service and the items that were not possible to be shiped "disappeared" as they were not able to find them on their storage place.
This was an experience that I would not wish on anyone. Don't not say I didn't warn you...

Very bad experience

I hope very soon some one catch this people,I lost most of my items with trusting this people.
I paid a big amount of money to recive all my items and in good condition but I never received the expensive items and the rest were all damaged.
I would definitely not recommend unprofessional ATA moving company.

These people are effectively criminals, they give other freight forwarders a bad name. you have read the reviews, that is mainly incompetence, you can almost forgive stupidity - but not paying your debts that is criminal, if you are potential supplier or client - do not touch them with proverbial barge pole, if you do insist on working with them as a supplier ensure you get your monies up front!!!

I made my move from Dubai to ilocos Norte Philippines, before I don't have knowledge that can move a whole household which is before I send just only a balikbayan box. For me AT A is perfect movers in the world, multiple times I've using different movers in our move but it happened I'm experience brilliant service just only now.

Horrible, pathetic and disastrous!!

I booked their services due to the dedicated follow up of the sales person from ATA cargo for my move from UAE to Singapore.
The first part of paying money and picking items from my apartment in Abu dhabi was quite smooth (That's the most easy part).The items were collected on 12th March 2020 and as per the quote and all other conversations I was supposed to receive the item within 60 days.
Whereas as of 6th June 2020, that is almost 3 months after the items were picked up, they are yet to be shipped from Singapore.On top of it the company and the sales agent who was following up atleast 3 times a day until I booked hi service didn't even bother to update you on the status despite me requesting him to give me an update atleast every 2 weeks he never did.
It has made things very difficult has I shifted my entire houshold goods and without them ,I had to send a descent amount to purchase them already. The sales person named Mr.Bharat Iyer will make all kinds of excuses and throw some fancy words but will never give yoh an answer or service as expected.
Also note that he was frequentlyand conveniently trying to blame this delay on CoVid 19 situation but guess in reality Covid did not had any role to play.
As I'm yet to get the goods, I cannot tell the condition of those and hence will update this once I recieve them.
But overall would never recommend ATA cargo, it was a complete nightmare dealing with them.

For me this company most reliable in terms of service.. they packed my stuff and send to philippines in a proper packing & no damages..the cargo quite late to reach but what i,understand in relocation they need to qait an ample time to fill in the,container and sail. People behind are polite and.they dealing me happily. GOOD LUCK ATA ! JOB WELL DONE!

Absolutely terrible

This company was absolutely shocking and we would like to warn other people to stay well away from them - in the move we lost some 23 boxes of our belongings, a garden suit, a dinning room suit, an expensive sewing machine, 2 tool boxes full of new tools, 2 large steel cabinets, a large water feature, a large antique mirror and all our family photographs which are irreplaceable!! clearly the lost belongings could only have been removed from the container AFTER it was loaded as we were onsite during the later stages of loading the container - what shocked us most of all was we received 2 large boxes of goods plus a number of metal brackets that didnt belong to us and they have made no attempt to return them to the rightful owners - of the furniture that arrived a number of items arrived broken due to poor packing - we were quoted a 40 foot container when in fact we had to leave items behind - this was because a number of boxes arrived half empty - we took out their insurance only to find out it only covered our processions if the ship were to sink !! They have since promised us financial compensation which has failed to materialize so again folks, you have been warned - stay well away from ATA !!”

I hired A T A Cargo to move my 3 bedroom villa from Al Ain, to my hometown in Paris , France. They did professional packing of my Fragile Artifacts, Also the flute and stem champagne glasses they packed very well. It took 2 good days for. The Packing Team`s attitude was fantastic. They worked on time. The 40 ft container came to my house so i could see how well they stack my goods. It took around 60 days to reach my home in Paris. The staff at the back office were in Whats app and were good in updating. All goods were well delivered in my home in Paris, their agents here were professionals who re fixed my beds and Dining table, All goods came safe including my Glass wares and Artifacts. Good job in all by ATA Cargo.

Very bad experience. Worst in the 8 moves.

We moved from Dubai to the Philippines. There was already an issue with the packers asking additional money in Dubai. Then the shipment did not leave on time from Dubai. Took ATA 2 months to put the goods on the boat. Then another 1 month of shipment. Then upon arrival they forgot it was door to door including unpacking so the goods were dropped off at the house without unpacking which we had to call about. Goods had been damaged but no payment from ATA on the insurance as they said the goods are not on the list. However they ask you to list down the items which is not comfortable when you are moving country (lot of other things on your mind so you tend to not put all items just the major things). We moved as family multiple times between countries due to my work but this was the worst experience ever.

Although I paid for insurance, ATA lost items and never reimbursed me. I was charged to get insurance, but perhaps ATA didn't insure me at all. They did not respect the contract and I had to pay a local company additional fee for door to door service. The managers are great at communication just to get your money. After that, they never respond to any claims.

initially very good, informative on the phone regarding the move, turned up slightly later than agreed which was not a problem, efficient in wrapping the boxes I had already packed, friendly men who came to collect, no hassle regarding the final payment, my only concern / comment, on the original quote, it stated "delivery time 5-7 days" they collected on the 29th March, to date 12th April, I still have not received the shipment, I received an email on Saturday 7th April saying the shipment was ready to be dispatched ? but have not received any way of tracking the shipment, this is going to cause difficulties for delivery as I will be working away from home next week, I had hoped and was expecting delivery this week ?? Half star, and I do not recommend anyone to deal with them, they don't respect their customers by not replying to their calls or messages at all. This is not a way of doing buisness, moreover my shipment got delayed 15 days and they given a false information about departure date.

Less than a star, they failed to commit on the packing date, delays of minimum 22 days from the agreed date, poor support after they get paid. And each time the reply ( it is not in our hand ) why should I bear all the delays I paid what they qouated. Why the customer is the weakest in the loop , Why?!!! Black list them

The worst movers ever, lets start from the top...ever since getting our business communication lines have been late and inadequate at best. when the folks came to pick up the boxes they were rushing and didn't really take good care of my things as they were packing everything (They Promised my TV will be in a crate). from there I was already worried on how my stuff will come. I was promised a loading date for my things to be loaded in the container when I was making the deal with ATA, and after my things were picked up the loading date for my container was conveniently pushed back 2 weeks which meant my things will arrive 2 weeks later. then it finally came... boxes were mangled, and WORST OF ALL MY 50" TV SCREEN WAS BROKEN (CRACKED FROM A CORNER) AND WAS TOLD BY THE DELIVERY GUY MY TV WAS NEVER IN A WOODEN CRATE AS PROMISED. I am now trying to contact ATA for compensation which I doubt they will even listen....WORST PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH AND I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM TO MOVE A BRICK.

ATA did a very good job of assessing my requirements and the value for the same. However, closer to the date of the shipment we decided to send essentials like clothing, foot wear etc. via air and the rest by sea. The invoice submitted was 3 time what was quoted considering the air mode. Anyhow the dealing up to then was satisfactory and I did not mind the price.
The issues started when my air shipment arrived at the destination. I was not informed that ATA was using DHL. DHL send me a message on the morning of the delivery that there was duty and shipping charges to be paid, even though I was not required to pay duty as I had customs clearance for the goods and I had paid ATA for the shipping costs. ATA did not help to sort and I paid that.
And at the same time I also updated the address for delivery. However goods were submitted at the initial address. And now I have to deal with moving the goods to my proper destination again with no help from ATA.

ATA Cargo have provided an extremely poor service. I recommend that The Relocator does not offer their services again. Let me explain.

I accepted the price, terms and conditions of a quote sent to me by ATA. They have not provided the service they quoted, and are in breach of contract. For example:-

i) ATA quoted on the basis of a dedicated 20 foot container. Obviously, such a container would go to our destination, and only to our destination (Halifax, Canada). In the event, they put our goods in a 40' container in which there were goods from other customers. ATA tried their hardest to conceal this fact from me. I only found this out from the shippers.

ii) the 40' container is going first to Toronto in Canada, the destination for the other goods. This means that our goods can not be delivered within the delivery time of 30-45 days that ATA quoted me.

ATA have cheated me. I have asked for a partial refund, but they are not responding to my e-mails. Help!

I would definitely recommend Hafiz Umer for excellent communication and service. The only thing was that things were overpacked when it wasn't necessary which resulted in taking more space and therefore more cost. I would use again! Thanks!
